Information providers

INJUVE remains the main provider of information about programmes and courses related to youth work in Spain, as mentioned in sub-chapter 6.9.

Injuve oversees the Network of Youth Information Centers (Red de Centros de Información Juvenil), which  serves as a centralized hub for information about youth services, opportunities, and support networks.

The INJUVE website is the primary portal where individuals can access detailed information on youth-related initiatives.

At regional level, the regional youth institutes and youth general directorates listed in sub-chapter 10.2 provide information on local programs and youth work initiatives. These entities ensure that youth in their regions are informed about various services, training, and educational opportunities and are critical for delivering localized youth services and ensuring access to relevant resources and training. They also offer information on local youth mobility programs, volunteering opportunities, and other youth-cantered initiatives that INJUVE may support.

Key initiatives

Promotion the value of youth work is one of the primary responsibilities of The Youth Institute (INUVE). INJUVE is dedicated to raising public awareness on the importance of youth work for young people, their families, youth workers and employers. INJUVE´ efforts to highlight youth work include a combination media campaigns, publications, and events, and the use of digital tools to engage different audiences.

National Campaigns and Social Media Outreach

INJUVE has significantly expanded its presence on digital platforms to raise awareness about youth work. Through its social media channels and website it promotes youth work by focusing on key issues such as youth rights, volunteering, and digital literacy. Recent campaigns have been run in collaboration with youth organizations and stakeholders, aiming to enhance the visibility of youth work’s impact in society. These campaigns primarily target young people, families, and youth workers.

Youth Work Recognition in the Digital Age

As technology continues to play a central role in youth engagement, INJUVE is prioritizing initiatives that recognize the growing importance of digital tools in youth work. Digital workshops and training programs on safe internet usage and online youth engagement have been organized to address the increased role of digital platforms in supporting youth development. These initiatives aim to improve the skills and digital literacy of youth workers, ensuring they are equipped to support young people in the digital age.

Collaborations with Local Authorities and Youth Networks

INJUVE works closely with regional youth councils, NGOs, and local authorities to ensure that youth work is adequately represented and that local initiatives align with national policies. These collaborations include joint seminars, conferences, and training opportunities designed to raise awareness about the role of youth work in addressing emerging youth challenges. By working with local institutions, INJUVE ensures that youth work is effectively tailored to the needs of different regions.

Partnerships with European Organizations

INJUVE maintains strong partnerships with European organizations such as the European Youth Forum and Eurodesk. These collaborations help ensure that youth work in Spain is aligned with EU youth policies. Eurodesk España, as the national branch of Eurodesk, provides crucial information to young people and youth workers about mobility programs, training opportunities, and EU-funded initiatives

By participating in EU-led initiatives, INJUVE disseminates information and promotes youth participation in international youth policy development. These partnerships enable INJUVE to integrate Spanish youth work practices into broader European frameworks.
